Andrijana Furniss has assisted me with two, very different projects in the past six months. I had purchased my new home contingent on the sale of the existing one, and there was little lead time to meet contract terms. Andrijana helped me pack up our belongings for storage, donation and garage sale/trash. She then cleaned and staged the house to highlight the best features. After one showing, the house sold at just under the asking price! Without Andrijana’s effort, the house would not have been ready for showing, and would not have sold so quickly.
The second project was a complete remodel of my new home, an 1,800 SF condo in Chagrin Falls. The purchase price had been discounted for condition – stained and soiled carpet, old wallpaper in every room, 20-year old fixtures and cabinets in the kitchen/bathrooms and a very outdated layout. Andrijana first helped me see the potential, and worked with her team of contractors to develop a renovation project plan that fit within my budget and lifestyle. The work consisted of complete gutting/renovation of the kitchen, master bathroom and laundry room, whole house tile and hardwood floor installation, and updating the design in the remaining rooms.
As a project manager, Andrijana hired the best contractor in every field – plumbing, tile, carpentry, hardwood install, painting and general construction. She insured quality workmanship by scrutinizing the smallest details and insisting on perfection. Andrijana stayed on schedule, anticipated issues, presented options and was very conscious of the project costs.
From a design standpoint, she guided rather than controlled the selection of our colors and finishes. Many times, I knew the look or feel I was after, and Andrijana helped me convert the ideas into reality.
On a personal level, I have come to trust and admire Andrijana and her team. She is sensitive to family situations, and focuses on positive outcomes.
